Marathon & Gold Medal Challenge Results
The marathon results and Gold Medal Challenge standings are available. Thanks to all for a fantastic event and congratulations to our winners: Matt Sveum (overall and men's) and Julie Spencer (women's). You are both great champions! Also congrats to the Gold Medal Challenge winners: Stephen Tietz (men's) and Mary Flaws (women's).

Thanks for a great event today. A question about the splits shown in the results. My 5K & 10K times listed correspond very closely to my 10 lap and 20 lap times that I captured on my watch. Are the splits really 5K, 10K and half distances? Thought only whole laps and that last fractional lap could be captured with the timing wire layout we had. Just curious.
I haven't had a chance to analyze the splits, but I do know that the 5K, 10K, etc. are just estimates since the timing mats weren't placed at those exact spots. Those split times would correspond to the closest lap, which is probably 10 and 20. Thanks.
Really awesome event. I thanked a few volunteers personally, but not all of them, and they all deserved a personal thanks. Excellent job overall!
