It's official....we are using a "tag team" format for the Marathon Relay. Teams will consist of 2 to 4 runners. You can switch runners at any time. There will be a designated transition area where runners can exchange their chip with a teammate. There is no limit to the amount of times teams can change runners. We anticipate that this format will make things interesting from a strategic standpoint. Do you switch runners every lap....every 2 or 3 laps.....every mile.....every 3 or 4 miles??
The field limit is 100 teams. There are currently plenty of openings. Keep in mind that each team member will have to register on their own and will need to indicate their team name and captain during the registration process. The entry fee is $30 per runner. All relay runners will receive a long-sleeve technical shirt and a cool goodie bag.
