The marathon and the Gold Medal Challenge are full. If you would like to participate in the Marathon Relay, each participant must enter on their own. You will be asked to select your team name and captain; that is how we will be able to identify your correct team. So make sure you have a team name and captain prior to registering. Teams can consist of 2 to 4 runners.
There will be two half marathons so you will be asked to give your estimated finish time during the registration process. Sometime in the months before the event, we will use your times to decide which race you will be placed in - the 7 a.m. race or the 9:30 a.m. race. The faster runners will be placed in the first race. If you have a preference to which race you are in, please email the race director at email@example.com and we will consider your request, although we can't guarantee it. Please be aware that there is only one half marathon listed on the registration page. You cannot specify which one you would like to run during the registration process. You will be notified of which race you are assigned to at least one month prior to race day.
The field limits are as follows: marathon 120 runners, half marathon 240 runners (both races combined), marathon relay 100 teams. A total of 40 slots in the marathon and half marathon will be reserved for Gold Medal Challenge participants.
The tentative schedule of events is as follows:
Saturday, January 23
Half Marathon 1 - 7:00 a.m. (2-hour time limit)
Half Marathon 2 - 9:30 a.m. (3-hour time limit)
Marathon Relay - 1 p.m. (4-hour time limit)
Sunday, January 24
Marathon - 8 a.m. (6 hour time limit)
