Spots are still open for all Icebreaker-Pettit Center events. There are just 27 left for the Marathon and 14 for the Gold Medal Challenge. The Half Marathon still has 158 openings.
The registrations for the Utah Olympic Oval event have picked up the past week, but there are still plenty of spots left in all races.

Registration Update for Pettit Center Event
Just 16 spots remain for the Gold Medal Challenge and 34 for the Marathon. Plenty left for the Half Marathon, Marathon Relay and 5k.
Boston Update
We should have some more news to share later this week about the Icebreaker's Boston qualifying status. We may get a one-year extension for the Pettit Center event. Keep all fingers crossed!

Kim Cowart wrote an entertaining post on the Icebreaker last month in the Deseret News, which is Utah's second-largest paper. Kim has entered our Gold Medal Challenge so she will get to experience the inaugural full and half marathons at the Utah Olympic Oval next February.
