Indoor Marathon Gets "Off the Couch"

The Icebreaker Indoor Marathon got some press in today's "Off the Couch" blog in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Read it here. Thanks to JS reporter Tom Held for helping spread the word about this wonderful event.

Registration Information

Registration opens on Sunday, August 1 at 8 a.m. CST by following this link.

For the Marathon Relay, the team captain should sign up all team members at once. You should know each person's name, address and shirt size. Teams should be 2 to 4 members. The cost is $100 per team. Each participant will receive a shirt and goody bag.

For the Gold Medal Challenge, you do not have to sign up for the marathon and half marathon separately. There is one registration event for the Gold Medal Challenge. The cost is $150.

Last year the Marathon, Half Marathon and Gold Medal Challenge filled up well before race-day. We expect them to again this year.

Important Updates for 2011

First, I would like to announce that the InStep Icebreaker Indoor Marathon is officially a Boston Marathon qualifier!!!

Secondly, registration for the 2011 event opens on August 1 via Active.com.

Thirdly, we have added a Friday Night 5K for 2011. It will be limited to the first 100 registrants.
